Our dream for The Kingdom Life Now is that you, our reader, will view having a relationship with God in a different way—a way that is dynamic and real and personal. Because that is how our God is.
He is dynamic: ever-moving and ever-vigilant.
He is real: at work in this world in spite of the evil and darkness in it.
He is personal: in the messy parts of life with us—ever-present.
We pray that if you have not already experienced our Father God in this way, that you will do so by reading the thoughts and stories shared here by others seeking His freedom. He came to give life—abundant life and we can experience that by living The Kingdom Life now.
|Betty Ringeisen – Editor in Chief
Betty is a native Upstate New York girl. She moved to Virginia after meeting and marrying the love of her life, Donny. They have four children, two girls and two boys. She is also the coolest grandmother in the world (according to her grandson). She grew up in a church that taught her a lot of rules, but nothing about the real Jesus and The Kingdom of God.
|Stacy Sircar – Director of Operations
Stacy lives in Northern Virginia but is really a sunny Floridian (Go Gators). She misses being able to take walks on the beach, watching the sea birds and hearing the swishing of palm trees blowing in the breeze. She moved to Virginia via Connecticut after meeting and marrying her husband, Amit.
|Nichole Toms – Creative Director
Nichole is originally from Louisiana, home of Cajun cooking and the bayou. Her husband would describe her as sweet and spicy. She has moved around her entire life, living in 7 different states, but she now resides in Virginia with her husband (whom she met in college) and two children.
|Brooke Ackerman – Editor
While Brooke enjoys editing the writing that her 6th graders turn in for her to read and grade, editing quality writing like the articles for TKLN has been a real pleasure for her. It’s always been exciting for her to see the different ways in which people express themselves through their writing, and in the case of TKLN, to see the way that God works in and through so many wonderfully unique individuals. The honesty and passion that comes from these contributors makes the work of editing a true delight.
|Kim Davis – Editor
Kim is married to Billy and is mother to Hannah and Sofie. She is a lover of sweets, dogs and Clemson football (she married their star football player from the 1980 championship team). She loves to make people laugh with her wild sense of humor and is passionate about Jesus, her family, and proper grammar.
|Michelle Tanis – Editor
Michelle is the proud wife of James Tanis and mother of three precious gifts; Eliana, David and Jonathan. Michelle brings to the TKLN table all the editing experience that 21 years of active duty Air Force administrative service gave her. She is an avid reader and is striving to be the very best version of herself as God created her. She loves to make people laugh and to encourage them.
|Katelyn McCallum – Photographer
Katelyn is a local photographer, wanna-be world traveler, and a passionate Jesus follower. Although she was born in California, she calls Virginia home. She studied photography and art history at George Mason University. She hopes to one day combine her love for photography, travel, and Jesus into overseas mission work.
